Local Real Estate company spends time with Hope Lodge Lexington in Lieu of Annual Christmas party

Nestled in the middle of Lexington, right next to the K Club on UK Campus, is Hope Lodge. Hope Lodge is the American Cancer Society's program that provides a place for cancer patients and their caregivers to go to receive their treatment.
Many Cancer patients in Kentucky, especially in rural areas, must travel far distances in order to receive adequate treatment for their cancer. Sometimes these patients have to be seen a few times a week, which can be taxing financially, mentally, and emotionally on someone who is battling cancer.
A few years ago, local Kentucky Real Estate Brokerage, CENTURY® 21 Advantage Realty could be found each Christmas, gathered in a nice venue with dancing, music, wonderful food, suits, and ballgowns. Now, you'll find them gathered together every year, working to raise money for the Hope Lodge. The first year they decided to "give up" their Christmas party, they were able to present a $2,100 check to Hope Lodge, which is a non-profit and offers its services completely free to its residents.
This year, CENTURY® 21 Advantage Realty collected money, supplies, and gifts for Hope Lodge and its residents, ultimately presenting them with a $7,000 check.
During this time, a resident of the Hope Lodge was able to speak and share her story, and why Hope Lodge was so helpful and special to her. She was also very delighted to be able to hang out in the K-CLUB, as an avid UK fan.
Afterward, agents filled the basement of K-Club, forming an assembly line, then filled holiday bags with toiletries, gifts, stationery, candy, and other treats, for the residents of Hope Lodge. On top of that, each office collected donations for basic supplies and toiletries for the facility as a whole. They then walked from the K-club, to Hope Lodge, dropping off all donations where they were also welcomed to tour the facility.
